A simplified approach to flight meteorology, with emphasis on cloud formation from the flyer's point of view, illustrated throughout with Sloane's drawings reproduced in black and white or in tones of blue. Gray cloth printed in red and black, 12.25 inches tall, 75 pages plus a page with facsimile signature at the rear, illustrated dustjacket featuring a small photo of a very young-looking Sloane on the rear panel. The book has some shelfwear, mainly rubbing to the corners and spine ends, some age-toning to the lower edge, good hinges, sound text block, unevenly toned endpapers, clean pages free from names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket (also a second edition dustjacket) is priceclipped has light overall soil and a faded spine, some chipping to the spine ends, larger chips to the top edge of the rear panel, about three to five percent paper loss overall.. Hard Cover. Very Good/Good. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. Dust jacket present.
