Near fine with some darkening of a small area on the rear cover and some very light edgewear, contents very clean and unmarked. Also includes a historical sketch of the Presidio, photographs of the base and surrounding areas (including a great photo of the Golden Gate before construction of the bridge), and dozens of pages of advertisements. The tournament included, among a wide variety of activities, formation flying and aerial acrobatics; Coast Guard demonstration of beach apparatus; balloon sniping by flying-machine gunners; machine-gun firing at targets in the water and planes dropping messages; mock air raid on a battleship; parachute work; submarine mine explosion; construction of a double-lock-spar bridge and barb-wire entanglement; various parades; and culminating in "spectacular display of pyrotechnics by the Chemical Warfare Service". .
