The Limited Editions club, founded by George Macy in 1929, has a long history of producing well-made limited editions of classic and carefully selected contemporary literature, usually signed by the illustrator, designer or other party involved in the production of this particular edition. Illustrated in color. Pale tan brocade cloth covers in a clover design, paper spine label, 121 pages plus colophon, two part slipcase in black and light brown, with label. The book has some light spine fading, good hinges, firm text block, clean pages free from names or other markings. Both parts of the slipcase have some light surface soil, the outer light brown section is unevenly faded, otherwise sound and strong.
