Hard-to-find original (not reprinted) copy of the Beadle's Boy's Library Series, this one bound in an early 20th century hardcover binding with the original wraps bound in. This is one of several series by Beadle's and predated the more readily available Frontier Series of the early 20th century. Burgundy cloth with the title printed on the front cover in gilt, complete issue of 32 pages bound in with added endpapers. The issue has a fair amount of wear and some old repairs, mainly quite expert, but text is complete and readable. Residue of old price sticker on front pastedown. Binding has some edgewear but is solid and good to very good overall.
