First edition. A scholarly introduction to the expansion in foreign trade brought about after World War I and just prior to the Great Depression. The book is a convincing argument for increased American participation in the world's economy and against tariffs and other restrictions. Red cloth with paper spine label, 328 pages, printed dustjacket. The book has very little wear, just a bit of light rubbing at the spine ends, firm binding, clean pages. Attractive private bookplate on front pastedown. Mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped and has some small edge chips and darkening of the spine, no significant paper loss.
