Gift inscription in volume 2, dated 1833. Volume I good to very good, with worn exterior but good hinges and firm binding, pages lightly foxed but free from any noted chips or tears. Owner name in pencil on title page. Volume II more worn, with spine strip missing and front cover and free endpaper nearly detached. Lightly foxed, rear free endpaper chipped, otherwise free from any noted chips or tears. A useful copy, internally quite clean.. First US Edition. Hard Cover. Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
