First edition, with ten titles on final page. Some edgewear and rubbing, especially to the corners, and a bit of chipping to the spine ends, a bit of separation at the top of the rear joint, good hinges, sound text block, clean pages with a few small stray markings on the half-title, no names or other markings. Pseudonym of Theodore Geisel The King's Stilts New York Random House 1939 Early Printing Hard Cover Fair Fair Folio - over 12" - 15" tall Yellow cloth, unpaginated (48 pages), illustrated dustjacket. Covers worn and soiled with bumped corners and small chunk missing from outer edge of the rear cover, front hinge lightly cracked, rear free endpaper a little loosened but attached, pages quite good, with one tiny closed tear to the bottom margin of one page, clean with some occasional light soil from little fingers. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped (200/200) and is in quite rough condition, pretty much held together by the mylar, with some old tape repairs and large chips. Price: 40.00 USD
