Biography of illustrator Aubrey Beardsley, who died of tuberculosis at age twenty-five, and was most noted for his work on Malory's Morte d'Arthur. Includes sixteen illustrations and a final chapter by Max Beerbohm titled Mr. Beardsley's Fifty Drawings. Rust brown boards, with gilt spine lettering and decoration, tinted top edge, 285 pages. The book is in very good condition, with some light foxing to the edges, sound text block, good hinges, clean pages with no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped and is also in very good condition with some light edge rubbing at its creases and additional rubbing at its peripheries, no paper loss. A sound and attractive copy.

The book is in near fine condition with lightly rubbed spine tips, a very sound text block, good hinges, very clean pages with no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped and is also in near fine condition with minimal edge rubbing. Very clean copy.
