First edition. Children's fiction set in ancient Mycenae, one in a series of four adventure stories by the author meant to interest young readers in ancient civilizations. Illustrated by the author in both color and in black and white. Tan cloth, 155 pages, decorative dustjacket. Some light finger soil to the covers, surface crack to front hinge (not structural), rear hinge neatly repaired, sound text block, two minor smudges to the front free endpaper, pages clean and free from names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped ans has some light edgewear and a very few tiny edge chips, almost no paper loss.
