Clean and well-kept copy in a worn dustjacket. Second book in the Old Deerfield Series. Historical fiction adventure series for children, illustrated throughout with black and white plates. Light blue pictorial cloth printed in black, red and tan, 352 pages, blue dustjacket printed in black. Light rubbing to corners and spine ends, good hinges, sound text block with no loosened pages, pages clean and free from names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket has large spine chips with the first word at the top being Canada and with the publisher information chipped away at the bottom, spine age-toned, old repairs to the reverse side with brown paper, printing on front and rear covers nearly intact with additional edge chipping - main paper loss is at the spine ends.

The mylar protected dustjacket has a bit of light spotting and rubbing, light edgewear, almost no paper loss.
