Observations of the author beginning in the 1880s, reflecting on life in Ohio and Kentucky in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, discussing religion, politics, the Spanish-American War and the attitudes of the times. Plain boards with attached brown dustjacket, front cover label, unpaginated (about thirty pages). Some external wear, including a bit of chipping to the edges and cover label, internally near fine with very clean pages, no names or other markings.
