First American edition. Well illustrated text on pre-1700 Flemish painting, with eight full color plates and numerous others in black and white. Light green blind stamped cloth over beveled boards, gilt lettering, top edge gilt, 48 pages of text plus 90 plates. Some rubbing to the spine ends, two small brown spots on spine, good hinges, firm binding, very clean pages free from names or other markings. A very clean and sound copy.
