First edition of this hard-to-find early Mickey Mouse book, which features "Mickey Mouse Miniature Movies", small illustrations of Mickey at the lower right hand page corners which appear to dance when the pages are flipped. Includes several short stories such as Traffic Troubles; The Delivery Boy; The Moose Hunt; Fishin' Around; The Firefighters, etc. - eleven in all, illustrated in black and white. Green cloth with color illustration of Mickey onstage in the spotlight on the front cover, black spine lettering, 190 pages. Light rubbing to the edges, upper corner of the front illustration scuffed, affecting the M in Mickey, spine lettering readily legible with a slight blur to the first word in the title, very minor old dampstain to the upper edge of the rear cover and spine which does not affect contents, good hinges, sound text block, two pages with slightly discolored streaks from old flowers stored there, name neatly written at top of front free endpaper, pages otherwise very clean and unmarked.

Pictorial boards with dark blue cloth spine, unpaginated (about fifty pages). Includes several half-page color plates among numerous other black-and-white illustrations. Color illustrated boards with navy cloth spine, gilt spine lettering, illustrated endpapers, about 50 pages (unpaginated), matching illustrated dustjacket. The book is in very good condition with some edgewear including rubbed corners and spine ends, rubbed outer edges to the cover, sound text block, good hinges, clean pages with no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped and is also in very good condition.
