Written by renowned Lincoln era historian, Nelson R. Burr. Reprinted from a two-part series in the Lincoln Herald, Harrogate, Tennessee, late 1983 and early 1984. Depicts details leading up the the president's assasinnation and connects the New England state's romance with the enigmatic Lincoln and other leading abolitionists of the pre-war and early Civil War dispensation. Illustrated light tan softcover, 85 pages. Personalized inscription signed by the author, dated 1985, on the front free endpaper. The book is in very good condition with some overall light surface rubbing (generally visible due to light cover background), sound text block and clean pages with no other names or markings.
