First edition. Well-kept hardcover copy of this special Plainfield issue of The Graphic, an illustrated periodical, volume I, number 1. Contains local history and biography of this section of the town of Moosup, Connecticut, generously illustrated throughout in black and white, from photographs, including full pages plates of local residences, etc. Light green cloth over beveled boards lettered and decorated in silver gilt and in blind, 83 pages. Light cover wear, mainly rubbing to the corners and spine ends, minor shelf soil, good hinges, sound text block, name on front free endpaper, pages otherwise unmarked and very clean.
