First edition [1928], very good in very good dustjacket. Autobiography of a multi-ethnic man raised from infancy by Native Americans and who became Chief of the Blood Band of the Blackfoot tribe. Rust colored cloth printed in black, color dustjacket, 278 pages. Very light wear to the lower edge, good hinges, firm text block, very clean pages with no names or other markings, old bookseller sticker at the lower edge of the front pastedown. The mylar protected dustjacket has some edgewear and a number of very tiny edge chips, almost no paper loss.
