Chicago Globe Bible Publishing Co. 1892 Hard Cover Good
1892 printing of this Victorian era photographic world tour of Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, North and South America and the Pacific Islands. Worn but sound copy in maroon cloth lettered and extensively decorated in gitl and black, about 9 inches tall and 11.5 inches wide, two inches thick. Covers rubbed at the extremities with light fraying to the corners and spine ends, gilt no longer bright but fully legible, hinges internally neatly reinforced some time ago with tan linen tape, text block sound with no loosened pages (but no longer tight), endpapers age-darkened, pages very clean and and free from names or other markings.
