Black textured cloth, just more than six inches tall, black leather spine lettered in gilt, 332 pages plus ads for D. Appleton publications at rear. Expertly stitched old black leather repair to front joint, corners worn and chipped, crude linen tape repair to front joint, rear hinge lightly cracked, text block generally sound, numerous pencil scribbles throughout the book, front free endpaper torn..
