The book provides a clean account of the problems and parties of post World War Italy and discusses in detail the challenge posed to the Catholic Church by the rise of fascist leaders. Brick red cloth with gilt spine lettering, 344 pages with index, printed dustjacket. The book is in very good conidtion with very gently rubbed corners and spine ends, sound text block, good hinges, clean pages with no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is corner clipped and is in good condition, pleasantly age-toned with very minor chipping to its perimeters.
