Light purple cloth lettered and decorated in gilt and in blind, frontis engraving, additional engravings within the text, 64 pages. Some uneven fading to the covers, spine now a light tan, good hinges, sound text block, front free endpaper neatly removed, name in pencil on reverse side of frontis, pages otherwise very clean and unmarked.. Hard Cover. Very Good. 32mo - over 4" - 5" tall.

Contains Cinderella, Blue Beard, and Little Red Riding Hood, illustrated throughout with engravings, pink pictorial borders on every page. Dark yellow illustrated hardcover with tan cloth spine, 96 pages. Covers chipped, spotted and a bit warped from past moisture exposure (but no damp odor), considerable dampstaining to endpapers, some very faint dampstaining to a few pages, pages in generally good condition but somewhat grubby and a little edgeworn.. Hard Cover. Fair. 12mo - over 6" - 7" tall.

Philadelphia: American Sunday School Union, 1855. Undated, ca. 1855 based on notation on blank page near the front of the book. Worn children's story illustrated with four color plates printed by Kronheim Co., London. Inexplicably, the detached front cover is titled Visits to Holly Farm, but does match the still attached rear cover - so it probably is the right cover. Covers are scuffed and lightly soiled around the edges, additional edgewear, binding restitched with the front endpaper placed after one of the color plates, pages a little worn around the edges but generally good, fairly faint dampstains to the outer edges of two of the color plates, affecting the printed images only a little. Worn but complete.. Hard Cover. Fair. 12mo - over 6" - 7" tall.

Corners curled or creased over throughout, scattered foxing, fairly faint dampstain throughout. Text complete, no significant chips or tears. . Soft Cover. Fair. 24mo - over 5" - 5" tall.

Covers worn and a little chipped at the edges, surface chip to lower edge of front cover, contents a little age-toned but generally quite good with a few light fingerprints to the outer margins..
