Maps are in better condition than the text, which has numerous little ink spots, foxing, general finger soil. Maps are age-toned with some light finger soil nearest the outer edges, hand coloring bright. Blue printed hardcover with calf spine, spine long since perished, 208 pages. Covers badly worn, soiled and generally grubby, separated from text, final page of index and several blanks at front and rear detached, remaining text block holding together. Numerous (and humorous) drawings on the blanks, mainly horses, a flag, etc., plus various admonitions not to steal the book, in both pencil and ink. A rough copy with pretty nice mid nineteenth century maps.. Hard Cover. Fair. 8vo - over 7" - 9" tall.
