Includes numerous black and white photographic illustrations and line drawings, several folding maps, very well indexed. Blue cloth lettered in gilt, 973 continuously numbered pages, illustrated dustjacket. The books are very good with firm bindings, slightly age-yellowed but clean pages, personal bookplate on each front free endpaper, no other markings. The mylar protected dustajckets are age-yellowed with some foxing, minor edge chips, 3" closed tear to lower edge of volume I, very little paper loss.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Good. 8vo - over 7" - 9" tall. Dust jacket present. First Edition.

The mylar protected dustjackets are not priceclipped and have some chipping, mainly at the spine ends, fairly little paper loss, age-toned spines.
